Do you find it hard to connect with your family or friends that are experiencing infertility? We can help you understand the ins and outs of infertility to help you better support those going through it.
Infertility, pregnancy loss, and family-building challenges are difficult and lonely. And it can be very hard as a support person to understand the experience. You might feel you say the wrong thing, or aren’t sure how to support those going through infertility.
Even well-meaning people say the wrong thing at times, and it can feel frustrating and isolating to not know what to say or how to help. One-on-one coaching can provide you with information and tools to better support your loved ones through infertility.
Through coaching services, we can meet together for 45-minute sessions where we can talk more about what infertility looks like, how it emotionally impacts those experiencing it, how to communicate better, and what it looks like to support those going through infertility.
What you’ll learn:
- how to listen and be validating
- how to respect the person’s or couple’s boundaries
- what grief and trauma look like in infertility
- the impact you could be unintentionally having on your friend, family or employee
- tools to be more supportive

Here’s what Coaching looks like at Infertility Counseling Center:

We’ll start by discussing infertility and the details of the process – including what the different treatments entail, what all those acronyms mean, and how it physically affects a person. Then we’ll move on to discussing the emotional toll it takes on someone going through infertility.
After you better understand infertility and the treatments those going through infertility often face, we’ll discuss what’s making it hard to connect and communicate with your friend, family member, or employee, and then discuss better ways to offer support.
We also offer workplace consultations or staff trainings to discuss how to create a culture that is sensitive and supportive of those struggling with family-building.
Coaching is not covered under insurance, and will be charged at a rate of $125 per session.
