This depends on you! I want to provide you with therapy that meets your needs and wants. So, you might want to meet once a week, or maybe once every other week. Once you’ve been in therapy for a while, you might even drop down to once a month (these typically function more as check-ins). Sessions last around 50 minutes.
And the length of therapy also depends on your needs and wants. You might feel better after eight sessions. But you also might feel like you need support through your entire building-a-family journey. I’m committed to working with you on a therapy schedule that helps meet your needs.
Third-party reproduction consultations and assessments (for gamete donors, gestational carriers, or intended parents) are typically completed in a single appointment.
I have immediate openings, so I will typically be able to get an appointment scheduled within one to two weeks of an appointment request.
I’m available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9AM to 3PM. I’m also available Tuesday evenings, from 5PM to 8PM.
Take a look at my services page for more information about each of these! I offer individual therapy, couple’s therapy, and group therapy. I also provide third party reproduction assessments/consultations for those trying to become an egg/sperm donor, or a gestational carrier, as well as intended parents or recipient parents.
I use a variety of therapy approaches, knowing that each individual/couple is unique. I believe that therapy should be tailored to your needs!
If you live in Kansas or Missouri:
I get that infertility treatments are expensive, and it’s really nice for insurance to cover some things! I do accept some insurance plans, including Aetna, BCBS, and Cigna. Please reach out to determine if I accept your insurance plan. If you do not have one of these insurances, or if you do not want to use insurance to pay for therapy, you can pay my out-of-pocket rates, which are noted in the next question.
If you live in Utah or Idaho:
I am not an in-network provider for any insurances in Utah or Idaho. However, some insurances will reimburse your therapy fees. I am happy to provide an itemized receipt (a superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. You will need to reach out to your insurance to see if this is something they are able to do.
I do not accept insurance for third-party consultations/assessments.
Here are my rates:
- Individual 50-minute session: $125
- Couple session: $150
- Group session: $35
- Gestational Carrier evaluation: $300
- Donor evaluation: $225
- Intended Parent consultations: $225
- Joint consultations: $150
I offer reduced rates based on income. If you feel you would qualify for reduced rates, please reach out.
I take credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

I get that things happen. I generally ask that you give a 24-hour notice of cancellation. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be charged a full session fee. If you do not show up to your appointment, you will also be charged a full session fee. But I understand that emergencies happen, so please reach out if something comes up!
Yes! I know that being LGBTQIA+ can bring its own hurdles to a family-building journey, and I would be honored to help you navigate these challenges. Everyone is welcome here!
Reach out to us to set up an appointment. These appointments will address various topics, such as why you want to be a donor/carrier, your family history, personal history, and education around participating in this process.
These appointments typically take one to two hours, and after meeting, I will provide your clinic or agency with a written summary providing details about our appointment, including whether you meet the criteria set by ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine).
It can be frustrating to have extra steps and fees when all you want is a baby in your arms. ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) sets recommendations for best practices when building a family through third party reproduction, and they recommend parents using gamete donors or gestational carriers complete psychoeducational counseling. The purpose of a consultation is to help you address and explore the complexities of building a family with the help of donors or gestational carriers.
This consultation typically takes one to two hours, and we will discuss various topics, such as the relationship you want with the donor/surrogate, how to share information about your journey with family, friends, and your child, your child’s needs as they grow, and the difficulties of your family-building journey.
It would be an honor to work with you.
